Bengaluru: A 43-year-old woman from Hulimavu filed a criminal case against her daughter’s friend Gowtam, accused him of stealing gold and cash from his house.
The woman told police that one of his daughters celebrated his birthday on November 28 at their residence in the pie layout, near Hulimavu, and Gowtam was one invitation.
“My daughter wore a gold chain on her birthday and we have kept 45 grams of gold ornaments and Rs 22,000 in the closet in the bedroom.
We realized that they were lost on December 3 when we opened the closet to keep the chain inside,” Pushpa, “Pushpa Said the complainant.
Gowtam denied the allegations when asked by Pushpa.
The police have taken the theft case.
