Prasagraj: The selection in the constituency of the Sirathu Council High Profiles Kaushambi District is referred to as the ‘Beta’ vs ‘shoulder’ contest locally.
CM Keshav Prasad Maurya held a small public meeting in Sirianu, Kasia, Kada and Ajuha Mandals of Constituencies for Garner supporting while the party had mobilized a team of 7,500 Panna Pramukhs to connect with 3.75 Lakh selector.
The Challenger leader, Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) Pallavi Patel relied on the combination of Voters Pasi, Patel, Muslim, and Yadav and looked for their voices with a claim that he was the original Sirathu ‘shoulder’.
The contest between two heavy-class politics turns interest as one of the claims as ‘beta’ Sirianu and the other as ‘shoulder’.
Because of the presence of a large number of Kurmi, Muslim voters and YADAV in constituencies, the Jamajwadi Party camp (SP) is expected to provide a difficult fight for representatives of CM in the area of his home.

SiraThu assembly chair has around 3.75 lakh selector, including 2.01 lakh men and 1.79 lakh women, consisting of 55,000 PASI, 50,000 Patel, 50,000, 28,000 SC, 22,000 YADAV, 25,000 Brahmin, 18,000 pals, 28,000 Vaishyas, and others workers work hard to ensure a record of winning the Sirathu assembly chair.
Maurya has won the SiraThu chair in 2012 when the Jamajwadi party has won the majority.
However, in the 2014 election, the Samajwadi Party had grabbed a seat from BJP.
In 2017, the BJP Sheetla Prasad candidate defeated SP Vachaspati through more than 26,000 votes.
Political observer said the Sirathu contest has become very interesting because BSP also changes its candidates and involves USABs as their candidates.
