Thane: The Thane Court has released a man accused of killing two people and practicing black magic after giving him the benefits of doubts.
Additional session Judge SP Godhalekar, in September 28, detailed copy available on Monday, said the prosecution had failed to prove the charges against Bhiwandi-Resident Ansari aged 38 years.
Ansari is charged under Section 302 of the Indian Criminal Code and the provisions of Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifices and inhuman, Evil and Aghori practices, and ACT Magic, 2013.
Other accusations in this case have died during suffering.

On October 4, 2015, two people were found injured near the grave on Jalan Idgah rushed to the hospital by the police and was declared dead on arrival.
Probe caused an arrest of Ansari and one more person, police said.
However, the court order freed Ansari said the recovery of lemon, black dolls and other items related to black magic from that point did not mean the duo arrested had killed the two men.
