Bhubaneswar: One of the four people arrested by the police commission on Wednesday for allegedly kidnapped a businessman Ramrup Agarwal’s Son Ishaan, was a friend.
The problem arrived at light after Ishaan, which was saved by the police from the Nayaagarh area in the early hours of Wednesday, was surprised to see his friend Dhaneswar Patra among the four kidnappers arrested.
Police said Dhaneswar and Ishaan were friends from their school days.
But they lost each other.

The police said three other men, who were partners in crime, were running around.
The defendant was encouraged to kidnap Ishaan after carrying out the kidnapping of a man who was similar in mixed last month.
The police said they had succeeded in extorting the RS 35,000 ransom from the victim’s family for his release.
The gang had decided to kidnap another man, but Dhaneswar told them about his friend Ishaan, whose father was a businessman.
“They hatched the kidnapping plot about a month ago.
On Monday, when they kidnap Ishaan from the tea kiosk in the Lax Scanner, Dhaneswar deliberately did not come to the place for fear that Ishaan would recognize it,” said another police officer.
On Thursday, the police re-recited the crime scene with the help of the four defendants, who were taken to Lax Misagar.
“We will do the testing parade of testing (IT) accused and seeking their detention to be interrogated.
The effort is to arrest another gang member,” the officer added.
