Vadodara: The crime branch on Thursday arrested Mohammed Hussain Sheikh aka Munna Tudbuch, a member of the feared Bicchu gang, from the Navapura area.
Munna desired for the past few months after police ordered all Bicchu gangs under the control of Gujarat for terrorism and organized crime laws (GCTOC) in January this year.
“We have ordered 26 gang members under GCTOC and 25 of them in police custody.
Munna is the only one in the escape and he has also been arrested.
He is number two in the Bicchu Gang after Aslam Bodiyo,” said DS Chauhan, ACP (crime ).
The police have called the GCTOC against Bicchu Gang because it was involved in a series of crimes and created great fear among people.
Aslam Sheikh aka Bodiyo, who is the leader of this gang, has 62 violations registered against it.
This gang has been booked in hundreds of cases including murder, extortion, riots, threats, booty and property deprivation.
Forty-three years Munna also has dozens of violations registered with them in recent years.
