Patna: The police on Saturday claimed to have solved a murder case of a prosperous farmer, Bhim Singh Yadav (45), who was stabbed to death by four people near Anandpur Bindpur under the Bihta Police Station area on Patna on September 25.
Assistant Danapur Syed Imran Masood said the population of Semra Yadav Village under the Barhara Police Station area in Bhojpur Regency has told the police that the latter had a prohibited relationship with his friend’s wife, Ashok Rai (44).
Yadav, also a body builder, has reached Danapur on a bicycle from Semra to receive Rai on a decisive night.
“The police found Rai clothes torn.
Rai previously claimed that he had fled the point after the criminals attacked them.
Before his death, Yadav had told some people that Rai was involved in the attack,” Masood said.
He added that Rai was arrested a day after the incident when he was made named accused of being asked by Brother Yadav Prasad Arjun.
Sho of Bihta Police Station Raja Raj said Rai, an employee of Goni mills in Kolkata, has reached Patna Junction by train.
“He was picked up by Yadav in Danapur and both were heading to Semra when the incident happened,” Sho added.
Meanwhile, the police still knew nothing about the murder of Glass Traders Raju Jaiswal (52), which was brutally killed in Chowk at Patna City on Thursday.
City Patna Additional SP Amit Sharan said Jaiswal might be killed on financial disputes.
