Patna: The police arrested four young men, including underage (15), from the village of Akilpur and Saman Chak under the Dariyapur Police Station area in the suggestion district on Wednesday for allegedly persecuting a woman and made an inkident viral video on social media.
Although victims of rape have not been traced, the youth has been identified as Rakesh Kumar and Amod Kumar from Akilpur and Nitish Kumar from Saman Chak.
This minor is also a resident of Chaman.
Guddu Rai and Dharmendra Kumar, two Akilpur residents involved in the crime, were avoiding arrest.
Overcoming Presser on Wednesday, ADG (Head Office), Jitendra Singh Gangsar, said the incident, which took place on September 27, was revealed on Tuesday night.
“All SSP and SPS were alerted after someone shared a video and marked the police Bihar on the microblogging platform.
They were able to track the defendants and arrest four of them.
The other two will also be arrested soon,” he added.
