Patna: In an effort to accelerate the drive of Covid vaccination in the state, especially in rural areas, the Ministry of Health on Monday started the Ward-Wise inoculation program in Pancahayats.
Special drives will continue until February 19 and “Aam Sabha” will be held in every Panchayat on February 22 to inoculate those who miss taking Jab.
The additional health department of Pratyaya Pratyaya Secretary Amrit said the government had set a target to fully vaccinate all people who qualified before the start of vaccination for children aged 12-15 years.
“After settlement of drives in rural areas, the focus will shift to urban areas.
Responses in urban areas are so far involved vaccination,” he added.
Amrit said all district judges and civil surgeons have been asked to make the right plan for the implementation of a smooth vaccination process.
“They were asked to ensure the availability of vaccines and syringes.
Local representatives have been asked to encourage beneficiaries to take vaccines,” he said.
“Aam Sabha” will be held in every Panchayat on February 22 under the leadership of Mukhiya in question.
The remaining beneficiaries will be inoculated on the same day.
The presence of Asha workers, Asha facilitator, Anganwadi worker, Jeevika member, officers who are nominated by block development officers and officials of the education department are nominated are a must.
District officials have also been asked to ensure the availability of drinking water and seats in vaccination centers.
All DM was told to hold a meeting with district officials from all departments concerned and blocked development officers.
Beneficiaries of the second dose or the dose of prudence are still due or adolescents who have not taken the vaccine to be sensitive.
