Patna: A 24-year-old man, Munna Mandal, is on his way after allegedly killing his baby’s child by giving him poison, not milk when he cries continuously.
The incident occurred at Veera Chandpur Village under the Pothia Police post in Katihar Regency on Friday night but was revealed on Saturday.
Pothia Op Incharge Sunil Kumar Rai said the victim was identified as Kumar Yugmit one-half year.
“The wife of Mandal Poonam Devi has filed a brilliant against him,” Rai said, added Poonam had come out of the house for a few minutes when the incident happened.
“He left the child, who was crying continuously, on his father’s lap.
After some time, Poonam observed that the child was silent.
After returning to the room, he found a child lying down did not move on his husband’s lap.
Mandal, a driver of the Autorickshaw, angrily told him That he had given him poison instead of milk as a bottle of 100ml pesticides stored at home, “Rai added.
He said Poonam raised the alarm after that they rushed to the hospital with the child.
“The child died on his way to the hospital,” Rai said, adding a raid to catch the mandal.
