Patna: Additional Secretary of the Head (Health) Pratyaya Amrit on Thursday said the increase in Daily Covid cases in the country meant that the third wave of pandemics was here.
He appealed to people to follow Covid’s appropriate behavior.
Amrit said the Ministry of Health would restart the oxygen war room to remember the Covid surge.

Similarly, 10,535 beds are available at special Covid care centers.
“We have enough beds, medicines, and oxygen available with us,” Singh added.
Kumar Ravi’s construction department secretary, who also leads as an OSD from the Ministry of Health and the monitoring of oxygen availability, said the capacity of the state oxygen generation has increased from what conditions on the day of the incidence during the second wave.
During the second wave, Bihar had its peak on May 6 when 377 metric tons of oxygen needed.
Ravi 150mt can now result from various PSA plants and 308mt of cryogenic tanks in various universities and hospitals per day.
He added that the state had 16,185 oxygen concentrators, 38.259 B-type and 14,616 cylinders type D.
Meanwhile, the state is also preparing to vaccinate adolescents aged 15 to 18 years starting 3.
The Ministry of Health has directed the Magistrates District (DM) to hold meetings with officials concerned on Friday, before this new phase roll-out.

According to Amrit, the center has provided data at 83.46 lakh teenagers in the age group 15 to 18 years in Bihar.
Amrit stated that they had 14 doses of Lakh Covaxin and that the center would send additional doses to all states in the coming days.
“When registration for this age group will begin on the Cowin portal on January 1, based on the previous trend in Bihar, it is expected that the majority will choose to register in place starting January 3,” he said.
This center has approved the administration of only Covaxin to teenagers.
