Patna / Bagaha: A jawan of the army shot and injured three women, including her young wife, in a drunken country in Barwat Village (Bettiah) in the Champaran Barat Sunday night.
The defendant, Naresh was legitimate (35), was arrested and forwarded to prison on Monday.
Naresh Anita Devi (30) wife, Malti Devi (45) and Kajal Kumari (15) was treated at The Bettiah Government Medical College and Hospital.
The incident occurred after Anita objected to consumption of liquor at home.
What angered her husband thrashed mercilessly.
Catch the problem, he went to Malti’s neighbor’s house.
Naresh went there and was fired with the licensed pistol, causing an injury to Anita and the other two.
Bettiah SP Upendra Nath Verma said the weapons used in crime were confiscated.
Bettiah Mufassil Police Station Sho Ugranath Jha said on Monday that Naresh was drunk when the police arrested him.
Sho said a container full of alien liquor was also confiscated from his home on Sunday night.
Cases related to murder efforts and under the relevant parts of the Bihar and Excise Prohibition of 2016 are submitted against it.
Anita, in his statement to the police, said her husband went home on Saturday.
He has brought a bucket full of liquor from Patiala in Punjab.
“He began to consume alcohol since reaching the house.
I did not complain to anyone on Saturday.
But he began consuming liquor again on Sunday night and I objected to him.
Then he trimmed me,” he said.
“My husband used to harass me with a pretext or another,” Anita told this newspaper from the hospital.
