Biharsharif: One Baiju Yadav, 19, was shot dead in a gun battle between two groups with trivial issues of livestock grazing in Mahtarwan Village in the Thartarwan police station area in the Nalanda District on Sunday, said Hilsa SDPO Krisna Murari on Monday.
However, village sources said Baiju was arrested in a shootout between supporters of Sanjay Yadav and Mani Yadav for disputes in the election of Panchayat who had just concluded.
In another incident, the 14-year-old Bittu Kumar was shot during soaking Idol Dewi Saraswati in Chhatarpur Village under the Bind Police Station area on Sunday night.
The victim was referred to PMCH.
But his uncle Swarath Yadav, said the incident was the impact of the efforts of criminals to take a piece of government land across their land in the village.
Bind Sho Abhay Singh said Swarath said six people in Fire according to the police source, the victim returned home from the nearest village on his motorcycle after attending a relative, when criminals made an offer in his life near the Jaitipur gas station.
