Jamshedpur: After dusk, the heart of the city of Jamshedpur turned into an arena of a reckless teenage bike gang that took action a lot for the anxiety even when the police closed his eyes.
Geng-gang took over the road near the Sacred Monastery School and the Keenan Stadium under the Bistupur Police Station and close to the District Head Office.
On Wednesday, one of these gangs, who rode a bicycle without numbers, crashed into two-wheeled vehicles, which passed, and injured two, which now struggled for their lives at a city-based hospital.
These roads are close to the JRD Sports Complex, the Badminton Mohan Ahuja Badminton complex, often frequently visited by morning and evening pedestrians.
However, they have slowly leaving the area because of the biker gang.
A vendor near the school complains that the police are very rare patrol and after dusk, when most needed, not a single police can be traced around it.
He said most of these motorbike riders openly violated traffic rules by not wearing a helmet or with triple-riding.
A night pedestrian, Ramesh Khandelwal, who is a steel employee and often stroll with his wife, say most of these bikers look like underage and have no SIM.
He said the number of motorists has doubled lately.
“Every night, more than a dozen gather here to take action,” Khandelwal said, Amresh Singh, a banker, made that the district transportation department and traffic police did not bother supervising dirty violations in the area every day.
Singh further said most bicycles do not have a number plate and modify the exhaust pipe, which makes noise pollution.
