Birds caught in kite strings rescued at Dandia Bazaar

Written by news2in

Vadodara: On Monday morning, they got an emergency call after the fire department rushed to the city of Dandia Bazaar.
But it’s not a fire call.
The fire brigade was called to save the dove hanging from a 50-foot high wire in the air.
The fire department climbed and saved the poor bird which was then taken for immediate medical treatment.
Firefighting officials said that many birds were still entangled in string kites that depend on the power line or tree.
“We have got a rescue call even a few days after Uttarayan,” said Firemen.
Dozens of birds injured by kite strings have been saved by the fire brigade and NGOs.
A few days ago, the kite hanging from the tree was saved by firefighters.
A group of young people from the city have supplied drugs and gave other fees to treat hundreds of injured birds due to kites string.
Some migratory birds that fly through the city are also injured because of string kites and have to undergo treatment for months before they can fly.
