Vadodara: BJP Board Member and Members of the Permanent Committee Corporation Vadodara Municipal allegedly cheated by a carpenter who provides inferior quality furniture than ordered.
Jadeja Pararamsinh Board member, who lives in Harni-sama Link Road, filed a complaint of cheating on Laxman Suthar at the same police station on Friday.
According to Jadeja, he has booked for a bed, sofa, and two side tables with Suthar, a Gota resident in Ahmedabad, on August 5 last year.
Jadeja specifically asked Suthar to make furniture from teak wood and pay it in front of Rs 4 Lakh.
Suthar made the first bed and delivered it to Jadyja’s house, but the board members found that the bed was made of inferior quality plywood.
He asked Suthar to take it back and make it as determined by him.
Suthar took the bed again but did not provide furniture.
Because the work did not move forward, Jadya asked Suthar to return the amount of down payment.
However, Suthar continued to control so that Jadija approached the police and filed a complaint against him.
