Coimbatore: Former National Secretary of BJP H Raja seeks the resignation of the University of Bharathiar (BU) Deputy Chancellor P Kaliraj for trying to promote the Drawidian ideology among university students.
The University recently invited Suba Veerapandian, Secretary General Dravida Iakka Tamizhar Peravai, for an event.
Representatives of Chancellor, however, denied the allegations by saying that part of the person tried to manalize academic events.
Last Friday, Suba Veerapandian was invited to a female conclave, “Immave”, carried out by the University’s Social Work Department.
Furthermore, memes began to appear on social media questioning steps by the university to invite someone with political ideology.

Campus on Wednesday, the king said that Kaliraj was not worthy of being an academic head to allow people to follow the dravidian ideology to campus to spread their ideas.
