Chandigarh: Rajya Members Sabha Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa-LED Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) officially announced the Alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former CM Captain Amarinder Singh-LED Punjab Lok Congress (PLC) on Monday for POLLS PUNJAB come .
Previously on that day, Dhindsa held a meeting with the minister of the house of Amit Shah, BJP President J P Nadda, BJP Incharge for Punjab Elections Gajender Singh Shekhawat and PLC Chief Amarinder in Delhi.
It has been decided to form a six-member panel – two members of each party – to decide on a chair sharing formula among alliance constituents.
The panel will appear with a joint manifesto from three parties, said the Union Minister of Shekhawat.
The leaders of the three parties refused to comment on the main faces of the Alliance in Punjab.
“I am happy that we have gathered together for the benefit of national security and welfare and punjab progress,” Amarinder said after the meeting.
The former main minister stressed that the main criteria for choosing candidates would be their winability regardless of the parties they would contest.
Head of PLC then repeats its guarantees and commitments to all parts of the Punjab, including youth and farmers that their interest will be supervised by all means.
He said the agriculture was integral with the growth and progress of Punjab and an emphasis will be added to this sector.
He said, the way and the means would be designed to produce work in Punjab, so that young people did not look for greener meadows elsewhere abroad.
