Letter: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in a letter on Monday accused the BJP tried to lure back members of the municipal council in Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC).
AAP released the audio clip BJP leader claimed that a young man from Diamond City have tried to lure the party council member Ghanshyam Makwana of Ward 4.
“Ward BJP Youth Wing 14 Bhavesh Jajadiya make calls to Makwana on Saturday.
Because Makwana know that it is an attempt to lure, he noted the call, “Dharmesh alleged Bhanderi, leader of the opposition in SMC.
Bhanderi further claim that they have two recording again will they release later.
He said that board members and the leaders of AAP receive calls from those associated with the BJP.
“Three of our board members can record the call while others do not have the evidence to prove the allegations,” he added.
In audio, a man came to tell Makwana that he will not get the chance again.
“Nobody thinks of a party and people should take advantage of the situation,” said the man told Makwana.
“Although there is no direct money offer but it is clear that he wanted to leave Makwana AAP.
If the members of the board agreed later, he would accept the offer,” said Bhanderi, adding that there was no longer a member of the city council of the AAP will join the BJP.
Earlier on Friday, five city council members, including four women members of the AAP joined BJP in the state capital Gandhinagar.
Movaliya Vipul Board Member of Ward 16, Bhavna Solanki from Ward 2, Jyotika Latihiya of Ward 8, Ruta Kakadiya of Ward 3 and Manisha Kukadiya of Ward 5.
On Thursday, the AAP has issued a notice to show off to Movaliya and seek an explanation for the activity of anti- party.
