PANAJI: BJP is likely to declare the first list of 25 candidates on Wednesday, said State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade.
This list is expected to consist of constituencies that only have one candidate in Fray.
The second list, which will include constituencies where more than one aspiran, will be released after the party takes stock of fresh surveys and land reports.
The BJP Core Committee and the Party of State Election Committee have the selected name and will place them before the Central Committee.
The meeting in Delhi is likely to be attended by the Head of the Sawant Pramod Minister, Minister of Union of Shripad rose, Tanaavade and Secretary General (Organization) of Satish Dhond.
First list can consist of candidates in Poriem, Valpoi, Sakhali, Mayem, Tivim, Aldona, Mapapaa, Saligao, Porvorim, Sirim, Pernem, Panaji, Taleiga, St Andre, Dabolim, Vasco, Fatim, Cuncolim, Naveim, Curorim, Quepem, Curchorem, Shiroda, Priol, and Ponda’s Proptuement.
In some of these constituencies, depending on victory, BJP has decided to drop MLA sitting and deciding to leave for new candidates.
A senior BJP official said the first list was completed based on the election by carakartas in secret voting, survey reports and land reality.
BJP on Thursday decided to oppose 38 of the 40 seats, leaving the Benaulim and Nuvem.
It has more than one candidate in Canacona, Sanvordem, Sanguem, Bicholim, Mandrem, Santa Cruz, Cumbharjua and several others.
After leaving the former Calangute Mla Michael Lobo, BJP had not finished the candidate to oppose the chair.
A senior official said Mormugao could be stated in the second list because of the recent controversy about alleged sex scandals related to former minister and Mla Millind rose.
Likewise, Savordem may see a delay due to accusations of recent work fraud at PWD against the Minister and Mla Deepak Pauskar.
In Cortalim, BJP can’t get zero at a candidate after sitting Mla Alina Saldanha stopped.
Four BJP MLA has stopped as MLA, including three of the minority communities.
MLA who left BJP on the election night including Lobo, Saldanha, former Vasco Mla Carlos Almeida and former Mayem Mla Pravin Zantye.
Lobo and Almeida have joined Congress, while Saldanha and Zantye each joined AAP and MGP.
Almeida and Zantye quit BJP after the party shot the former independent candidate Krishna Salkar and MGP possibly premendra shet candidates in Vasco and Mayem.
