Bengaluru: A 58-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing his 29-year-old son to death at their residence at KHB Colony near Kamakshipalya on Monday.
Gururaj and his son Santosh G runs a driving school and operates as a broker at the Regional Transportation Office (RTO).
According to the police, Gururaj was used to fighting with his son, he accused him of being able to continue their business.
On Monday, he asked Santosh about documents related to the vehicle and the last failed to produce it.
The duo began to abuse each other and Gururaj allegedly took a knife and stabbed his son on his chest.
His family member rushed Santosh to the nearest hospital, where he gave up on an injury within an hour.
The police received information about someone with a stabbing injury that was taken to the hospital.
A police team visited the house and found the crime scene cleaned by suspects in an effort to destroy evidence.
“The Father and the child fought in their homes and ended up with murder.
We have arrested the suspect to be questioned.
A case under the IPC 302 (murder) and 201 (destroying evidence) has been registered,” said Sanjeev M Patil, deputy commissioner of the police ( West), said.
