Bengaluru: Special Court for cases under the prevention of corruption laws has provided assistance to Swha Victor, wife of Police Inspector Victor Simon, by defeating three of his bank accounts.
His account was frozen in March this year when her husband was arrested by Dehuth the Anti-Corruption Bureau to have disproportional assets and not cooperate with the investigation after the raid at the location and his relatives.
Swethha argues that the freezing of bank accounts is not needed for the purpose of investigating this case.
He said he worked with private companies and had difficulties because accounts were inaccessible.
He handed over that the number will be reinstalled in front of the court if it comes to the conclusion that the account is part of a less capable amount.
The prosecution opposed Defreezing account, said the probe was still on.
The account has a balance of RS 27,431, Rs 75,289 and Rs 5,161.
However, the court ruled that it did not burden the account would not have an impact on the investigation.
Judge Lakshminarayana Bhat directed Swetha to execute compensation bonds for RS 1.1 Lakh subject to conditions that he will deposit the number that has not been paid as and when directed by the court to the final disposal of the case.
