Bengaluru: A 35-year-old private bank manager has been arrested by the police for allegedly trying to hit a police chief attached by the old airport traffic police station during a drunken examination and driving on Saturday night.
The defendant was Ramanjalu, a resident of Chinnappanahalli, near things.
Constable head Mubaraq Ali sustained the foot fracture in the incident.
The police said the traffic police team was carrying out a drunk check and drive task in the main road thing and stopped SUV Ramanjalu for inspection.

Ali asked Ramanjalu to park his vehicle on the side of the road.
But Ramanjalu allegedly harassed Ali and tried to hit him.
Ali sustained the fracture on his left leg and Ramanjalu hit his car to a compound after crashing into Ali.
Traffic police arrested him and handed it to the police and police order.
While the traffic police had ordered Ramanjalu because of drunk driving, the police recorded it for trying to kill, intimidating criminal and blocking a police officer from issuing his task.
Ramanjalu told the police that he mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brakes.
