Bengaluru: Close on the heel of the government’s decision to memo curfew, BMRCL has decided to extend its operating hours from Thursday.
The first departure of all terminals (Nagasandra, Silk Institute, Kengeri and Byappanahalli) will be 6am from Monday to Saturday and at 7am on Sunday, said a BMRCL release.
“The departure of the last train will be 11pm every day.
However, the last Metro service in Majestic in the fourth direction will be 11:30 a.m.,” he said.
At present, the metro operates the train from 6am to 10pm.
Meanwhile, BMTC on Monday decided to run more night service.
“BMTC operates 70 nights service services at 48 routes from the main bus station to various parts of the city,” said press release.
