New Delhi: West Bengal Leader from the opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Monday received temporary assistance from the Calcutta High Court for Cid’s summons in connection with the probe in his death in 2018.
The opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari on Monday did not appear in front of Bengal Cid in connection with the probe to In his bodyguard death, stating that he was busy, an officer said.
Adhikari, Nandigram MLA BJP, was called by Cid to his headquarters at Bhabani Bhawan in connection with the case of the death of the Chakraborty Subhobrata Bodyguard.
Chakraborty allegedly shot himself with his service revolver in the security camp outside the residence of Kanthi Adhikari in October 2018, according to the police.
Cid so far questioned more than 15 people, including 11 police officers.
Chakraborty, the state-armed police personnel, was part of the Adhikari security team because he became a member of parliament.
He continued on the team after Adhikari was made a minister in the government of Mamata Banerjee.
