Bokaro: Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) will launch many new schemes related to health and fitness for young people in the rural areas of Bokaro Regency.
Factory management said it was planning to open a fitness center, fitness center, and arrange sports activities in villages where residents were neglected by industrial projects.
In particular, people in these refugee villages are agitation against BSL, demanding work and returning land that is not used.
BSL Communication Head, Manikant Dhan, said, “Director is responsible for BSL, Amarendu Prakash, has announced that 2021 will be celebrated as a ‘year of sports’ to motivate everyone and to make themselves involved in healthy sports activities.
In this process , BSL is developing sports facilities in the city and also side by side with rural areas.
The development of playgrounds and the opening of the day boarding centers for sports is part of the initiative.
“He further said,” We will launch many new health schemes such as a fitness center, Fitness centers, and sports activities in the villages moved.
BSL will immediately begin this activity by installing it in two villages moved and in the city.
“In the second phase, two fitness centers will be opened in other villages.
The villages were chosen after discussing with the people concerned.
The specified time frame to implement this scheme is three months, Dhan added.
The steel department will also make efforts to provide required assistance such as training and sports equipment, among others for sportsmen in addition to identifying talents and maintaining them.
Earlier on August 8, BSL put up a badminton hall in a modern manne room in the sports complex in sector 4 in an effort to provide Fillip to sports activities in the city.
It has also made an initiative to open a boarding day center for volleyball and basketball and start grassroots training camps for hockey (age group 6-12) in the city and side by side with rural areas.
