Dharwad: Chairman of the Minister of Basavarab Bommai on Sunday visits the HR College of Medical Sciences and Hospital in Sattur in Dharwad where the poet Channavai Kanavai, along with the Minister of Water Resources Govind Karjol, visit the ICU where Kanavi is being treated on a ventilator and talks to the doctors in the last health condition.
Lating spoke to the media, the minister’s chairman hopes Kanavi fast recovery.
“The doctors said the effort was made to wean him from the ventilator because his chest conditions improved,” CM said.
Bommai said the government would bear the cost of treating senior poets.
