Nagpur: The day after four innocent residents, including three children, was killed in a terrible accident because of a hole near Satnavari Village on the National Highway Nagpur-Amravati on Sundays, lawyers, social workers and NGOs have demanded strict action on contractors.
They also appealed to residents to file complaints about the hole in the Hellour provided by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and city police.
Janmanch President Rajiv Jagtap has demanded immediate action against the National Highway Authority (NHAI) and contractors for negligence in repairing the hole that caused the accident.
Many members of lawyers from NGOs also called for registering violations of murders who were guilty of officials and contractors concerned.
“Even though orders repeatedly by the High Court, there were almost no roads that were fixed.
Even those in luxury areas such as civil lines have developed a mating-sized hole.
Some of them are repaired by NMC, but the material used is more quality Low so washed after a short rain, “they said.
Janmanch’s office carrier showed that complaints about a large hole that caused a tragic incident on Sundays was submitted to NHAI, but all requests for residents nearby were ignored.
NGOs are increasingly demanding the probe against errors of officials and NHAI contractors to improve responsibility.
Although regularly collecting toll tax on a stretch of road where the accident took place on Sunday, the contractor failed to repair a hole, showing lawyer M Radke and Chest Khodke and demanded sufficient compensation for the commotion and injured.
“This number must be restored from negligent NHAI officials and contracting companies,” they said.
A lawyer, who plays an important role in applying for many pills, said residents must flood the NMC help channel with hole complaints.
He also urged citizens to submit cases of insult in the High Court on civilian officials and police by sending a simple application in Suo Motu Writ Petition No.
838/2019 where Raheel Mirza has been appointed Amicus Curiae.
Another set of lawyers expressed a surprise on the streets of holes due to apathy NMC, which failed to act on time.
They also questioned the claim of the Minister of Transportation Union Nitin Gadkari about accelerating the work of the laying of roads throughout the country when almost no stretching in the city of origin was not free of holes, which was getting bigger and bigger with every day.
