Nagpur: The day after four innocent residents, including three children, was killed in a terrible accident because of a hole near Satnavari Village on the National Highway Nagpur-Amravati on Sundays, lawyers, social workers and NGOs have demanded strict action on contractors.
They also appealed to residents to file complaints about the hole in the Hellour provided by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and city police.
Janmanch President Rajiv Jagtap has demanded immediate action against the National Highway Authority (NHAI) and contractors for negligence in repairing the hole that caused the accident.
Many members of lawyers from NGOs also called for registering violations of murders who were guilty of officials and contractors concerned.
“Even though orders repeatedly by the High Court, there were almost no roads that were fixed.
