LONDON: British Finance Minister Rishi Sunak on Thursday asked the British Independent Budget Office to produce a new estimate for March 23, showing that he would likely provide an update of the mid-year spring statement on that day.
“(Sunak) has assigned the office for budgetary responsibilities to produce economic and fiscal estimates for Wednesday March 23,” said the Ministry of Finance in a statement.
