Gurgaon: In the next five years, the state will have 194 city health and fitness centers, 22 integrated public health laboratories and critical care units, 17 units of 50 beds in district hospitals and five medical wards in college.
The facility has been planned under Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Swastth Bharat Yojana (Pasmy) that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be launched from Varanasi on Monday.
The funds worth 1,048.84 crore have been approved to arrange facilities in Haryana.
According to officials, Gurgaon will need two sub-centers in urban areas, 10 health and welfare centers and one primary health center and initial estimates have been submitted to the State.
The urban health and health center will provide free consultations, diagnostic services and drugs and plan public health activities such as drives of immunization and TB, Malaria, Dengue prevention drives.
The aim of this scheme is to fill the gap in health infrastructure, supervision processes, and health research in urban and rural areas so that the crisis situation can be managed better, officials said.

As part of Pasmy, the state government will increase the laboratory and create additional facilities under the Indian Medical Research Council and the National Disease Control Center.
It will also build epidemiological intelligence services, facilities for reduction in bio-security and biological threats.
The Work Division of Health and Climate Change, the National Program of AMR Detention, Sectoral Coordination Program and Division for Takdal Supervision and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases have also been planned.
