Mangaluru: Dakshina District Administration Kannada continued its border supervision at the main Interstate checkpoint on Thursday.
There is no chaos that applies in Talapady, the main entry point to Kannada Dakshina.
Students and employees from Kerala are permitted to enter through talapady and other border checkpoints with only negative RT-PCR certificates that are no more than 72 hours.
Officials said the district government had directed all educational institutions and employers to make the necessary arrangements for institutional quarantine for students and employees from Kerala.
However, short-term travelers, which are less than three visits, and those who wear emergency visits for death in family and medical care are excluded.
The Chairman of the Minister of Balasavaraj Bommai said that in Hubballi the government intensified checking the border area of Karnataka-Kerala to examine the entry of people from Kerala to the state.
“The people who will produce RT-PCR negative reports will be allowed to enter the state border and we also verify reports whether they are fake or original.
