Srbac, Bosnia: Looking to please his wife who wants a more diverse scenery from their family’s home, an independent innovator Bosnia has built a spinning house, allowing him to watch the sunrise in one time and the person passing in the continued future.
“I’m bored with his complaint and frequently updating our family’s home and I said: I will build a spinning house so you can play it as you want,” Vojin Kusic said, 72, told Reuters, standing in front of his new home house.
Located on the lush plain in North Bosnia near the city of Srbac, the house revolves around a 7 meter axis designed by Kusic, with views of corn and agricultural land that turned into the desired speed.
“The house can make a full circle for 24 hours when it is at the slowest speed, while the fastest spinning can make a full circle in 22 seconds,” said Kusic.
His wife did not want to comment at a new house.
Kusic said he was inspired by the inventors of Serbia-America, Nikola Tesla and Mihajlo Pupin, and who came from poor families without the possibility of good education had forced him to look for something to make things to make it myself.
“This is not innovation, it only requires the will and knowledge, and I have enough time and knowledge,” he said, adding that he had built the house itself.
This project takes six years to complete, except for a break to stay in the hospital due to heart condition.
The house was more resistant to earthquake damage rather than stationary houses, he said.
