Bhubaneswar: Famous Botania, Education and Former Vice Fame Shri Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri, Chandrasekhar Sarangi, died here on Tuesday, said family source.
He was 85 years old style taught the basics of botany.
Sarang wrote two reference books for BSC and featured two textbooks each for the middle and medium level, in addition to publishing several research papers.
He began his teaching career in 1960 and taught at BhawaniPatna, Phulbani, BJB College, Ravenshaw, and GM College.
Then, he served as vice president of the secondary education council, Odisha, among other roles.
Sarangi survived his wife and two of his sons.
