Letter: The city-based builder who was previously arrested in various cases of cheating and violations of trust on Saturday alleged that the police had extorted Crores Rupee from him since 2016 with threatening to false in fake cases.
Uday Chhasiya, a resident of Piplod, alleged that the alleged extortion was carried out on the orders of the Children’s IPS officers and others.
He has filed a complaint against an GST officer also with an anti-corruption bureau here.
According to sources, Chhasiya was ordered in five criminal cases between 2016 and 2018 and had spent more than a year in prison.
“The police threatened to frame me in false cases and extort cash and property worth Cryshee crores.
They forced me to transfer ownership of eight flats, three land plots and take cash 35 lakh from me,” Alleged Chhasiya.
However, Chhasiya could not explain why he made accusations now.
“I represented the problems to the Minister of Home Affairs on February 8 and demanded action taken against the police accused,” Chhasiya said.
