New Delhi: A 18-year-old girl, who is suspected of being the mastermind behind the ‘Bulli Bai’ application, on Tuesday was arrested by the Mumbai police team from Rudrapur in Udham Regency Uttarakhand Nagar.
Sweta Singh, who has cleared the XII class exam, was produced in front of the Uttarakhand court which placed it on transit shipments until January 5.

The case of ‘Bicli Bai’ was registered on January 1 after filing a complaint that the dosage photos and other details of at least 100 leading Muslim women were uploaded for the ‘auction’ on the application hosted on the Github Open-Source platform platform.
Singh, who was preparing for the technical entrance examination, had lost his father to Covid last year and the cancer mother in 2011.
He was the second among the three sisters – both students.
