Lucknow: Claiming to have “almost” completion work put the main line to ensure the water supply to the Bundelkhand village that is prone to drought under the Har Ghar Nal Yojana, the state government on Thursday, houses in the region will receive water supply connections from Sunday Then November.
A spokesman for the state government said, “In all probabilities” the state government will start the supply of doors to drink the door to the door in thousands of Bundelkhand villages from December.
Proposed under Jeevan’s mission, this project will regard the land, six months in front of the deadline, he said.
Also, the Department of Water Supply Namami Gange and the countryside will begin trials of water supply to Bundelkhand villages.
The main secretary, Namami Gange, Anurag Srivastava, said, pipe water will supply will operate in the villages of Jalaun, Hamirpur, Banda, Mahaga and Lalitpur.
“Clean drinking water will eradicate diseases and problems of scarcity of water for decades,” said Anurag Srivastava.
Srivastava said the work continued the war footing to apply 467 pipeline drinking water schemes in 32 projects.
Of these, 43 is a surface water-based scheme and 424-based ground water.
In the project, 11,95,265 houses covering a population of 72.68,705 at 3823 Villagon Bundelkhand will be supplied by drinking water.
Srivastava said, 70% of the work of water treatment plants in various regencies, including Jhansi and Mahaba had been completed.
