Rajkot: A clever thief utilizes a PPE kit with the best advantage to enter two stores in Gondal Road in disguise mode and steal Rs 1.78 lakh money on Tuesday night.
However, CCTV cameras capture thieves in the PPE kit stealing money.
Break-in takes place at an electronic showroom near Gondal Chokdi which is run by Mitul Vaghasiya.
According to his complaint, CCTV footage showed the thief entered his shop by breaking the porch door and stealing Rs 1.39 lakh cash stored at the office desk.
Before stealing money, he was seen moving around the showroom who tried to put his hand on cash or other valuables.
After that, he was seen moving to the adjacent shop from the parts of the car from where he stole 39,000 other cash.
Complaints in this case registered at the Aji Dam Police Station, which states that the efforts of thieves to cover their identity with the PPE kit were successful when the police could not recognize the man.
