BHubaneswar: The thief continues to attack with impunity during the celebration season in the capital city with senior IAS officers, Manish Agarwal, being their final target.
Saheed Nagar Polda has begun investigation following the complaint submitted by bureaucrats on Friday.
In his complaint, Agarwal accused the criminals stealing household articles, including laptops, expensive cameras and hard disk drives from No-C-8 quarters, unit-9 near Rupali Chhak.
He suspected that the robbery might occur between 1 and 16 October when he and his family members were far from their home on a few days during the period.
“The officer told us that some criminals disrupted his residence on the night of October 1.
Two outsiders visited his home in the following days.
While one of them came to repair the door on October 2, other people visited it on October 7 for childcare work .
We asked about this problem, “said a police station official Saheed Nagar.
Agarwal, former Malkangiri District collector and is currently posted in the State Planning Department and convergence, cannot be contacted for his comments about this issue.
