Chennai: Tiruvallur police on Saturday night caught nine gang members and damaging the lathe unit to make machetes for offenders.
The fake gun, seven machines and machines to make weapons confiscated from the gang, while hunting for the two main defendants.
This unit was excavated during the investigation of complaints of robbery.
Based on the information provided by Tiruvallur SP Varun Kumar, a team collected by the victim’s detail, D Suresh Kumar, 34 of Coimbatore.
