VADODARA: Chartered Accountant Ashok Jain, which is desired in connection with the rape of a private university law student, filed anticipatory guarantee in the session court here on Monday.
Jain has begged that he might be captured by an investigative officer without proper evidence, so he sought anticipatory guarantee.
Like his previous letter to the Department of Houses and senior police officers, in his guarantee application too, Jain had reaffirmed that he was innocent and framed.
He alleged that it was a conspiracy that was hatched by Bootlegger Alpesh Wadhwani aka Alpu Sindhi.
The source said that Jain’s guarantee application also stated that because she did not give up on Sindhi’s threat, law students were made to file pondokuaskan kemara with Sindhi.
It has also been shown that the investigation of this case was not done fairly and the Jain version must also be considered by the police.
According to sources, the detail of the message suspected of being rape-survivor to Jain and his presence at the Jain office on September 14 has also been stated.
Bail trees will be taken by the court to hear on Wednesday.
Jain, a leading rental accountant in the city, was shared with Raju Bhatt, a trustee for Pavagadh Temple, for raping a second year law student after climbing his drink.
Violations against the duo were submitted on September 19, but even after more than a week, the police had not arrested the defendant.
