Prasagraj: With almost eight days left for Mela Magh, prominent fortune tellers & Saints, Dandi Swami, Akhara, Kalpuwasi and a number of religious, social and spiritual organizations are formed in the city of tents.
This year, Kalpwas throughout the month will also start from Paush Purmina (January 17) and will remain until Maghi Purnima (February 16).
Leading camps include Dandi Bada, Acharya Bada, Proagwal and other religious and spiritual organizations from various countries established on the Mela campus.
The saints and fortune tellers have started their puja and rituals in Tapasvi Nagar and Vishwamitra Taposthali on the Mela campus.
People and saints including the protective Akhil Bharatiya Dandi Sanyasi Parishad Swami Maheshashram Parishad Maharaj, National President Akhil Bharatiya Dandi Sanyasi Parishad Peethadhishwar Swami Brahmasham Maharaj, National President Akhil Bharatiya Dandi Pravandhan Samiti Peethadhishwar Swami Vimaldev, Saints Acharya Bada Jagguru Swami Ghanshanyamacharya Maharaj, Swami Jagguru Kaushal Maharaj, along with people’s enclosures and leading Khak Chowk will camp in all Mela Magh.
Other leading saints include Mahamandleshwar Sitaramdas, Mahamandleshwar Swami Ramteerath Das, Tatambari Swami Ramdas, Swami Dhruvdas Maharaj will also be camping in the Mela area.
In addition, the Saints are related to Juna Akhara, Niranjani Akhara, and Kinnar Akhara will also camp in various sectors of Magh Mela.head from Kinnar Akhara, Mahamandleshwar Swami Laxmi Narayran Tripathi will also arrive on January 8 to do Bhumi Pujan.
Kinnar Akhara, ProAgraj Mahamandleshwwar Swami Kalyaninand Giri said, “Many religious and spiritual activities including Yajna, Special Puja, Anna Kshetra and Fest Culture will be carried out at the Kinnar Akhara campus throughout the Mela period.” He also added that in addition to religious and spiritual activities, the voter awareness campaign will also be taken among visitors at the Mela campus.
This year, around two lakh kalpwasis tends to do kalpwas in various seal camps and saints on the edge of the Ganges.

These kalpwasis will arrive from various districts and states.
Five main Snans will be held at Sankranti Makar (January 14), Payh Purnima (January 17), Mauni Amasascaya (February 1), Basant Panchmi (February 5), Maghi Purnima (February 16) and Maha Shivratri (March 1)).
