In May, 2021 he received the WhatsApp message from an unknown number requested him for some Sahana.
After a few days he received another message from the same number in which the sender this time identified himself as Komang Suki from Indonesia and he had resorts and spas in India too.
After that they began chatting and after some time he invited him to invest in Cryptocurrency to get high benefits in a short time.
The woman also put it in whatsapp group called ‘Trail Tutorial 889’ where, Leonardo, Stefanie and Jessie were also part of the team.
Admin Group Leonardo sent a link from several Paragon options and invited Lokhandwala to invest money and also sent the details of the bank account number belonging to an unknown person.
Lokhandwala first transferred Rs 10,000 on November 24, 2021 in a bank account and when he examined the newly formed Paragon account, it showed Rs 15,390 as a balance.
After this, until December 28, 2021, Lokhandwala has invested a total of Rs 34.81 Lakh, which he received Rs 8.18 Lakh as a return.
When he asked them to close his account and return the RS 26.63 left by the Lakh, the defendant denied his money, he said.
