Anand: Six people were killed after the vehicle they were traveling in collided with a truck coming in opposite way around Indranaj village of Tarapur taluka at Anand district on Wednesday morning.
Each of the dead — five men, two women and two kids — were inhabitants of Bhavnagar district.
They met with all the deadly accident on Tarapur-Vataman country highway at about 6.20 am.
After attending a social role in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district, the dead, eight of these belonging to the identical household, were coming into Bhavnagar whenever the speeding truck hit the vehicle.
All of the residents were murdered on the area and also their own bodies got trapped within the mangled vehicle.
Following the crash, 108 emergency evacuation rushed to the place and the figures were mailed to Tarapur referral clinic for post-mortem.
The dead has been identified as Siraj Ajmeri (40), his wife Mumtaj Ajmeri (34) along with also their richest son Raees Ajmeri.
A native of Vartej, Siraj, that presently lived with his family at Sidsar village nearby Bhavnagar, was able to make a living by promoting cotton mattresses.
Siraj’s sister Aneesa Ajmeri, 32, her husband Altaf Ajmeri, 38, along with their daughter Muskaan Ajmeri, 12, also expired on the place.
They had been citizens of Vartej.
Together with these six, Rahim Saiyed, 60, along with Mustufa Deriya, 27, were one of other deceased.
Rahim, who owned a car parts store in Vartej, was Mustufa’s maternal uncle and had followed closely the Ajmeri household for attending the purpose.
The car was possessed by Raghav Gohel, 48, a driver by profession, who was murdered in the collision.
