PANAJI: On the day of the National President of BJP J P Nadda arrived in Goa, a twice party of MLA from Vasco, Carlos Almeida, resigned from the Assembly and also from the party on Tuesday, accusing him “systematically completing the Loyalist Manohar Parragar”.
Almeida said he was injured by the way in which the party had treated it, because the proposal was debated by him for the development of Vasco was not cleaned.
“When the former CM Manohar Parragar was there, we used to work with respect, but after the death of Parragar, we got lost.
All of his loyalists were lost.
The party systematically completed the parrocar loyalist,” he said.
Almeida is the second BJP MLA to resign from Mormugao Taluka, the first is Alina Saldanha, who represents the Kortalim constituency for two terms.
In the election of the 2017 assembly, BJP has won the four seats in Mormugao Taluka.
Almeida has not announced which party tickets he will look for the re-election of the Vasco constituency.
However, he said, “I have met TMC representatives.” On November 30, the former independent candidate from Vasco, Krishna ‘Daiji’ Salkar joined BJP, explained that Almeida would be rejected by a party ticket to compete for the election of upcoming assembly.
“There are many reasons to resign from parties.
BJP doesn’t want me anymore.
They say that I’m not good and can’t.
They have put it aside me,” Almeida said.
He also resigned from BJP’s main membership.

He said that he had been conveyed that the Salkar would be given a ticket.
MLA twice said that he had exposed the alleged fraud of comunidade land involving Salkar, who was recently appointed in the BJP.
“They asked me to work under it.
How can I work under it?” Almeida said BJP claimed that he was not in a position to win the election.
He said that in the last city election, from 11 wards, “we have won nine”.
“We have won the semifinals, and the final will occur easily win against BJP,” he said.
Almeida said BJP was no longer strong in the state.
Recently, Almeida demanded that the party must provide 35% tickets to the minority community, according to implementation in the 2012 Assembly of General Elections.
Almeida also demanded action against the minister involved in alleged sex scandals as well as BJP images were reduced to 25 after the resignation of two MLA.
