Ahmedabad: The country continues to record the number of positive cases of high covid-19 daily with 177 cases in 24 hours ending 5pm on Sundays.
It was the second consecutive day for the country to record 175-plus everyday cases.
With an update, the active case in Gujarat crossed 900 at 948 – highest in the past six months.
After six days, the state has not recorded deaths from every active Covid patient.
New positive cases include 52 in the city of Ahmedabad, 24 in the city of Rajkot, 20 in the City of Letter, 15 in the city of Vadodara, 12 of Rajkot, 8 of Valsad and 5 of the district letter, among others.
The active case analysis revealed that from 948, 304 was only in Ahmedabad – which meant one of every three active cases was in the district.
