Vadodara: After a 20-month pause, the number of Covid-19 positive cases in the city of Vadodara and the district has come below 1,000.
With Sunday night, the city of Vadodara and registered district 980 fresh Covid-19 cases after the total number of Covid-19 positive cases since the beginning of the pandemic reached 1.29.081.
On January 13, Fresh Covid-19 cases in Vadodara had crossed 1,000 marks – and the city and the district put together registered 1,047 positive cases within 24 hours.
Fresh cases drop significantly on Saturday when 1,012 cases registered in 24 hours.
Fresh 980 cases from 5,191 samples that showed a positive rate decrease previously increased.
Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) also stated that the death of five more patients on Sunday took the total official death toll 675.
The number of active cases on the other hand remained at 9465.
Of these, 9064 was under the isolation house, 401 was hospitalized, 401 34 is being treated under the Ventilator or BI-PAP support while 64 is in the ICU.
While 130 individuals need oxygen support, 173 patients experience mild symptoms.
In terms of urban-rural ratios, the city of Vadodara is counting for the maximum number of fresh covid-19 cases compared to rural vadodara since some time.
On Sundays too, the city of Vadodara saw the addition of 777 cases while Vadodara rustic added 203 cases.
