Vadodara: Mother troublesome living in the eastern part of the city tested positive for Covid-19 this week.
It was revealed that he did not leave his house for the past six months and there was no close contact this positive case of this mother was not isolated, and in most cases Covid-19 reported for a certain period of time, it seems it is one.
There is no close contact or person in places where the person spends time in the past found positive.
Getting a wide detail of each case has become possible again because of the number of new cases reported every day in one digit.
It is also possible to do tests or track their health who live with infected people.
There are almost no cases even those who live with infected people come to light.
“It is difficult to identify where the person gets infection.
It is expected that when there are a large number of cases in the city because Kasel is very high.
At that stage, people can be infected anywhere.
But that doesn’t happen again and still we don’t know where the person is Infected, “said VMC health department official.
Dr.
V S Mazumdar, former Professor and Head of the Public Medicine Department at Baroda Medical College, said that such infection may be due to asymptomatic cases in the community who might infect others.
“Another possibility is some variants that infect people who test positively,” he said.
Dr.
Mazumdar added that there were many who ignored mild or cold coughing, but could still be infected.
He showed that there was also an opportunity that the disease might be endemic.
However, he added that because no sero survey that had been done in the city was difficult to achieve conclusions.
The doctor has observed that data from sero surveys and genome sequencing is very important, but are not available for the city.
VMC Medical Officer (Health) Dr.
Devesh Patel said that several reasons can be responsible for the way this disease behaves.
“The environment or agent causes this disease can affect transmission.
The study also shows that pollen may have a role in transmitting Covid-19.
This is not a pollination season and if this research is an indication transmission may remain low,” he said.
