Cellular vet dispensary saves 38 birds

Vadodara: Loose kites and strings continue to claim innocent birds, many of which are found in critical conditions by rescuers.
Under Karuna Abhiyan Government Gujarat, bird camps were held in various regions in the city by Gujarat Animal Animal Husbandry Department, Gujarat Forest Department and non-governmental organizations.
The five cellular veterinary pharmacies connected with the 1962 animal emergency line that began by GVK Emri and the Gujarat Livestock Department were also deployed to save birds and injured animals.
“We can save 38 birds that are injured because of the kite string.
From this maximum – 34 – is a pigeon while the others are kuntul, black ibis or ibis studded with red, Starling and Lapwing,” Jaimil Dave said, the project was responsible for Vadodara.
