Prasagraj: Following the Mysterious Death of Narendra Giri, President Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, and one of the students accused of mental abuse, the police on Monday night was registered against Anand Giri.
FIR was submitted under Section 306 IPC with the Georgetown police station.
Dinesh Kumar Singh, SP (City), confirmed that the FIR was registered with Anand Giri on the complaint Amar Giri.
He added that the police would investigate the order of events as soon as FIR was registered with Anand Giri.
Anand Giri has been ordered for abutment suicide.
FIR also claimed that there was a dispute between the Mahant Narendra Giri and his students Anand Giri and a dispute between the duo would also be investigated.
Mahant Narendra Giri was found dead in a mysterious state on the Shri Math Baghambari Gaddi campus on Monday night.
His body was found depending on the ceiling in a room on campus under the limits of the Georgetown police station.
