Chandigarh: 3 Covid deaths pushed tolls to 1,100

Chandigarh: The city on Saturday recorded three Covid-19 deaths, taking victims of up to 21 from January 5, when the first year of the year was reported.
The total number of deaths is 1,100.
All victims have been fully vaccinated.
They are a 65-year-old woman from sector 26 who have kidney disease and hypertension, a 54-year-old man from sector 43 which is alcoholic and tested positive after he was taken dead to the government’s multi-special hospital, sector 16, and a man in age 67 years from sector 19 suffered from bronchopneumonia and acute breathing pressure syndrome.
At the same time, the city recorded 1,149 new infections on Saturday.
Cases have fluctuated.
Of the 1,275 on January 18, they rose to 1,502 the next day.
They fell from 1,294 on Thursday to 1,172 on Friday.
With a decline of 11% in everyday case in two days, public health experts are uncertain about further decline.
However, the growth of daily active cases has been reduced compared to the national average in the city.
The national average growth in active cases is 5.9%, while Chandigarh growth is 3.78%.
That’s 8.28% earlier.
However, the weekly average front test level was 23.3%, exceeding the national average of 16.6%.
The level of peposititivity on Saturday is 20.10%, while the weekly rate is 21.03%.
The active case is 8,614.
A total of 1,792 patients were dismissed on Saturday, taking a recovery count to 75,170 and assess to 88.5%.
The confirmed case is 84,884.
There were 421 patients received for oxygen support at the Covid Mini Care Center and Hospital, while 38 patients were in the ventilator.
