Jalandhar: Minister Punjab Chararjit Singh Channi on Friday announced to establish a teacher center Ravidas Bani Adhiyan in Ballan at a cost of Rs 50 Crore.
While paying respect in Dera Sachkhand Ballan in front of Sant Niranjan Dass’s head, he handed a check from RS 25 Crore Government Grant for the management of the research center.
Channi announced the establishment of the Teacher Committee Ravidas Bani Adhiyan Kendra Prabandhak, to be led by Sant Niranjan Dass, to manage the overall institutional affairs.
Cm, Tourism Secretary and Deputy Regional Commissioner will become a government representative at the Committee.
The Committee will decide further action in connection with the development of the center, including acquiring the land needed for this purpose.
Dera Ballan is the most influential dera of the Ravidasia / Adi-Dharmi community and after being CM, Channi has visited the place several times.
Previously, he also paid respect at Satunguru Ravidas Dham in Boesar Bathing and submitted a check worth of RS 51 Lakh each for Shiromani Teacher Ravidass Mandir Prabandhak Punjab Committee in Phagwara and Teacher Ravidass Education and Trust Charity in Jalandhar.
On that occasion, the minister’s chairman was respected with a gold medal by Dham management.
Shiromani Akali Dal Leader Seth Satpal Mall, who is a party candidate from Kartarpur in 2017, also joined Congress in front of Channi.
On this occasion the Pargate Minister Singh, very Singh Gilar, Raj Kumar Verka was also present.
